Welcome to
The Bristol Pickleball Club of RI

We're located in beautiful Bristol, RI.
Home of America's longest held 4th of July celebration.

About The Club

Welcome

The Bristol Pickleball Club of RI, now an official 501c3 nonprofit, has a diverse group of over 800 members. And we'd love to have you as a member.

Many of our members reside in Bristol, but others come from surrounding towns, such as Warren, Tiverton and Barrington, and as far away as Newport and Pawtucket.

Regardless of where our members live, they come for quality pickleball that's supportive of all skill levels, a friendly environment, and the amenities of the wonderful harbor town of Bristol.

The Bristol Pickleball Club's MISSION is to provide recreational, social, and competitive pickleball play for ALL skill levels.

Given that we were all beginners at one time, we believe that each player deserves to be treated with compassion and patience when learning how to play this wonderful sport.

We encourage all beginners and less experienced players to attend our beginner's sessions so that you can learn to play without feeling nervous or intimidated.

Our Mission

Our
Courts

Our home courts can be found on the Bristol Commons at the corner of State & Wood Streets, Bristol, RI with street and Common parking.

We now have 8 new courts - 6 dedicated with permanent nets and 2 on a multi-functional tennis/pickleball with portable nets.

We play year round. Traditionally, we have open play (sign up required) every Monday, Wednesday, and Saturday, as well as "beginner only" play on Tuesdays.

Our games accommodate beginner to advanced levels of play, including Challenge Courts.

To reduce undo wait times, we often have multiple sessions per day and limit the number of players per session.

Important: Especially in the winter, the days & times of play may be adjusted due to weather so please check your emails and Playerlineup.

Click here for a list of session days & times.

Please note: Registration for each session is required and is managed via Playerlineup.

During scheduled Club sessions, all courts are reserved for the Club and court play is managed by the club.

Outside of Club sessions, courts may be reserved by contacting Bristol Parks and Rec. But, otherwise, are available on a first come/first serve basis.

Beginner Lessons

Learn to Play

Weekly, spring through fall, we offer beginner and advanced beginner one hour lessons (no charge) to help you get started on your Pickleball journey.

Our instructors are all volunteers, some of whom started their journey taking these exact lessons. Balls and paddles are available during the lessons, so put on a pair of court appropriate shoes and come learn with us.

Please Note: Registration for the Beginner Lessons is required and is managed via Playerlineup

This is such a friendly group. I love playing here.

Heard from some many of the great folks who come play with us.
